Let’s face it.  Some electric bike owners have enjoyed fussing with electrical components for decades.  Others might just want to be able to ride a little farther or a little faster, or perhaps arrive at their destination a little less sweaty. 

Changes in technology, demographics, and the marketing of cycling in general are going to mean big changes for our tiny community, and we need a place to talk about it together.

As this site evolves, the hope is to create a robust community among our tiny segment of the cycling world.   Please join our discussion forum, and check back for expanded reference materials, reviews and more.

This site was started in October ’09 by Charlie Richman, who mostly rides his electric bike so he can get to his day job quicker and less sweaty than if he cycled the whole way on his own.   (He asks that you don’t hold the fact that he really has been playing with electrical things for over 40 years against him.)
